Introduction
The unit of Clinical Psychology works towards the welfare of the mental health of the beneficiaries and their families. The experts working in the unit carry out tasks like identification and diagnosis of various Cognitive, Emotional and Behavioral problems through appropriate and standardized Psychometric assessment tests and make individualized Intervention Plans which may include Psychotherapy and/or Behavior Management Programme (based on the need and severity of the problem) to help the beneficiaries overcome their problems in an effective way. The Unit also conducts Individual, Family, and Group Counseling sessions as and when needed. Some of the common disorders that are treated here are Intellectual Disabilities, Mental Illness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disorders, and various Behavior Problems in all age groups.
