    PM Daksh Scheme

    The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities implements the ‘National Action Plan for Skill Development of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)'(NAP-SDP), which was launched in March 2015 as a Central Sector Scheme under the ‘Scheme for Implementation of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (SIPDA)’. Under NAP-SDP, skill training is provided through various Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations Empaneled as Training Partners (ETPs) with the Department.

      Objectives of the Scheme:

    Provide skill training to persons with disabilities (PwDs) for enabling them to become self-reliant and productive members of the society in order to achieve gainful wage/self-employment and to integrate them with mainstream society.
